2 years ago I started knitting the
Modern Quilt Wrap in beach glass colors. I was anxious to get it knit and finished and take it to the beach in Mexico. I knit the first 6 rows in 7 days and then I fizzled out and the project went into time out for 2 years!
I decided that it's finally time to get it finished and I've been working on it in the evenings for the past week or so. I've now finished 12 rows and think it might be a bit small. Granted it's not blocked yet - but I still have a lot of the mohair and silk yarn left and what in the world would I do with the tiny bits left over?
So - it's going on hold for a few weeks and then I'll focus on it again. Hopefully I'll get JB down to a beautiful local beach to take some finished photos before the summer ends.
