According to Sue it's a very special day for yarnies. It's I Love Yarn Day!
I have no idea who sponsors this or even that it exists.
But how fun!
I thought I'd share a pic of my bowl of sock yarn leftovers and the basket that holds circs.
They living in my sitting room.
The sock yarn left overs are enough to make baby socks.
There are no babies in my future but I should get busy using them.
Happy Yarny Day - what special "day" surprises you?
I love that logo. Love yarn too, but you know that...
ReplyDeleteIf you are on Ravelry check out the Monstersocks group. You will be amazed at the things made out of scrap sock yarn.
ReplyDeleteIt's sponsored by the Craft Yarn Council of America. I had an email about it several weeks ago and have just been waiting to announce it.
ReplyDeleteI have yarn everywhere. This morning Rob told me the yarn on the kitchen desk was out of control, so I need to stash it away where he can't see it. Out of sight, out of mind.
Happy Yarn Day! Your bowl of scrap yarn is rather pretty, actually.
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about making a Hexipuff blanket? That's what seems to be all the rage on Rav lately. Personally, I don't know what's happened to half my left overs, so making a blanket like that would require me to make a bunch more socks first. lol
ReplyDeleteI had no idea it was Yarn Day. Like the logo :D
