~ 3 healthy dogs sleeping in a row. This means they are aren't barking at the kids walking to school and that is something to be very thankful for.
~ the pond in our backyard. JB put a new pump in and it sounds like rushing water our there now. I also love the fall colors happening and how they look against the fence I found against having installed - but I really do like it. I'll try to get out and get a good picture this weekend.
~ the moon hanging in the sky. Can you see it there? Just behind a tree? Love it!
So - what little things are reminding you that you have a good life - come on, share your list with me.
I saw the full moon this morning, too. It was gorgeous just hanging in the western sky. Now that I am retired and no longer leave the house at "dark-thirty" I often sleep through these beautiful scenes.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm rather stuck on my BIG thankful right now, but here goes...
ReplyDelete-- snuggly doggies, plaid wool, no rain at this very second in time...
Love your dogs. Lovely to see them reclining in your living room. We also have a houseful and the moon shines bright up here in Canada as well. And the fall colours are so wonderful this year. And grandchildren are great and-and-and---
ReplyDeleteBe grateful for the fact that you are still alive to be moody and cranky...cause sometimes that is a state you need to be in to get some of the negatives out of your life!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of the 3 sleeping dogs. They're so happy looking.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful that Cass was unhurt when that truck rear ended her (and will continue to insist on big safe cars as long as I contribute to their purchase or upkeep), and that my dearly beloved dodged the cold that was trying to attack him yesterday!
I've been in a foul mood all week, so I'm struggling to change it. It's hard to think of anything right now, but I know there are many things I'm thankful for.
ReplyDeleteGood things to be thankful for on your list....I'm thankful for clean dogs, warm, dry days, and cool nights.
ReplyDeleteThe mood overshadows the reality - so I'm digging deep these days myself.
ReplyDeleteThankful that it's been an 'even-keel' week.
Thankful that I'm finally going to learn how to deal with it.
Thankful that you posted this :-)
Thankful to have just sent two healthy children to bed for the night. Thankful to have a husband that puts up with my OCD decorating whimsies, especially when he's up on a ladder (we put up Halloween decorations today).
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. Give those sleepy dogs a kiss for me.
Great list... I was thankful for a nice staycation last week.
