Blogger Meet Up #1

On the second day of our vacation (or really the first real day) we figured out the DC subway and took the orange line to the end to meet ChanKnits and her Knight at a mall that wasn't too far from them.

She is absolutely as lovely in person as she is via her blog and email.  My only wish - that we had been able to meet someplace less public and had more time to just sit and visit.  But the menfolk were a bit restless.....

a photo of the two of us - i look like the golly green giant and she is dainty and petite.

As we were leaving - JB was attempting to get some shots for my pattern page
and I was pointing out the error I saw when she held it out.
Even The Knight was interested in finding it.

  1. What fun to meet an online friend. I hope to do that someday.

  2. Hem. Might I point out that upon meeting, you tried to tell me I wasn't THAT short?!

And why do I lose my eyes when I smile??

Next time, we'll have time to sit and knit and gab.

  3. It looks like you had a lot of fun. I hope the next time you are in Virginia, I'll be able to stop by and see you!

  4. Too bad you didn't have more time to chat and possibly knit.

  5. Why do men have to try to find the errors? I'm sure it was a lovely piece anyway. And it looks like you had a nice place to visit, even without much quiet time.

  6. Happy, happy that you and Chan were able to meet up IRL! When we're together, we have the same as the GGG and her as the lovely, petite elfin one. Ah well....

  7. I love the pics, and so happy that two of my favorite people got to meet face to face!

  8. So happy you got to meet Chan! :)

  9. Jealous (1000)! I'm still sad our time wasn't our own when we visited Portland. It would have been nice to be able to stay a little longer and be able to meet up.

I appreciate you coming to see me. It may take me a bit to publish your comment - but I will get to them by the end of every day. If you leave a way for me to get back to you, I will. Thanks for taking the time to comment and share your opinions. g
