I wore this dress last Friday and loved it.
I was tired when I got home and too lazy to buckle my shoes. But I got pictures.
This dress is comfortable and easy to wear.
When I was making it - Carolyn asked what I was going to do at the waist.
I thought about adding ribbon, but the belt is a good choice.
Look - better side arms. You can actually see the sides!
This time - I left the walking pleat out - I didn't need it.
I got a TON of compliments on this dress.
And - believe it or not - it's not too casual for everyday work wear.
Are you as shocked to hear that as I was?

Wow, this one is a show-stopper, and the yellow cardi makes it "pop" even more. No wonder you got so many compliments - you look fabulous!

ReplyDeleteI really like that dress. I've always liked reverse fabrics and enjoy working with them. I have some right now that I bought a few years ago to make a jacket. They're spring colors and I should look for them in the closet. The timing is perfect. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful!! It looks stylish and perfect for office wear! I have just "discovered" dresses and have amassed a whole 4 of them. LOL! I plan to enjoy them this summer. How I wish I could sew like you!!
