I'm feeling a bit bittersweet about this. "They" say the average lifespan is 8-10.
However - my boy had a full checkup this year and he's healthy as an ox.
I'm not going to worry - just give lots of love, hugs and treats.

My boy's over the "average" lifespan. We just have to enjoy whatever time we are given with them. Happy Birthday to the twins!

ReplyDeleteSo cute with his bear! I had to leave a comment because this reminds me of my Mom's basset hound. When he needed to go "out", he would pick up a stuffed toy and wait by the door until you let him out. Then he would place the toy on the step, go do his business, pick up the toy and wait to be let in...so funny.

I've been having the same thoughts since Zeus hit 10 in March, Lola 9 in July...... but we have to just know they're happy & healthy!
