Sweet Home
Finally! Photos of a finished object - granted it's knitting, but it's still finished.
Carrie - who is on Rav as IrishGirlieKnits designed this pattern she calls Sweet Home. It's a fabulous knit will all of Carrie's trademark details - small garter cuff, design that carries through down heel, and all the way to the kitchenering the toe closed.
I wish I could add links - but just go to my Rav page and find all the details.
I want to thank Carrie for asking me to test knit - the pattern was wonderful and I truly enjoyed it. I also want to thank Susie from Kollage for offering up the yarn for the test knit - it was fabulous to work with a made a lovely squishy sock that I will enjoy wearing. And finally - I want to thank JB for putting up with the knitting - now if we could just get him to work on his photo shoot skills!
Lovely! The colorway works well with the pattern. I love the shades of blue in it.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful pattern from Carrie, well-knit by you. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty! Now, some day it will be chilly again (too soon), and so you'll be able to wear them.
ReplyDeleteAnd at least JB will take pictures, no matter how ineptly!
Ooh, blue handknit socks! Lovely! (I so need to make me some in blue.)
ReplyDeletePretty pretty G!! Just lovely! And thank you again for test knitting!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the blues.
ReplyDeleteWith temps in the 95-100 range, it's nice to think of weather cool enough for socks.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I love the way the stripe carries on down through the heel and to the tootsies.
ReplyDeleteA finished project? What's that? LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the socks. I need my knitting mojo to return and the outside thermomter turned back.
Cute socks! I love the varriation in the yarn, it looks like waves :)
ReplyDeleteLove the socks !
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to have another couple of pairs done before sock wearing weather hits - they do take me a long time though, since I don't knit a lot each day. Vacation this week - I bought 2 new skeins and fabric of course :-). But we've been so busy, i haven't even taken my in-progress socks out of the bag !
very pretty. i am about to check out ravelry for new sock pattern.
