What's a Girl To Do?

Last Saturday was poker at our house - again. Being a loving wife - I made BBQ Beef sandwiches for JB. He loves them - I can't stand my house smelling like them. See how nice I am? Anyway - what do you do with the left over dogfood BBQ Beef? Well - I put it in muffin tins that I have sprayed with non-stitch spray. Then I toss it in the freezer. As soon as they are frozen - I dump them into a zip-log baggie. They are perfectly portioned for lunch. When packing JB's lunch, I toss one frozen portion of dogfood BBQ Beef into a container and toss a bun into his lunchbox. Perfect!

  1. That is such a cool idea! I'm going to pass that along to everyone I know. Such an easy thing to do with a few left overs. I have a machine that vacuum packs food to keep out the ice and frost. This is PERFECT. Thanks thanks thanks.

  4. You are such a nice lady. I'm afraid here they would have been dog food.

  5. Brilliant! I do a similar thing with portions of shredded meat to make a fast soup in the microwave for lunch. Aren't freezers and little containers the best thing ever?

  6. But I guess this means you didn't research what kind of beer goes with cheez whiz. I'll tell Thor you're as smart as we thought, and avoided that travesty.

  7. Aren't you clever!?! You can wrap them in press and seal before you put them in the freezer. They will keep for years! seriously! Ask me how I know....LOL

  8. Now that you mention it, the dogs did love that stuff more than the pumpkin-orange frosting...

So did you freeze the nuclear peppers, too?
