Are you using Windows Vista? Their "photo gallery" utility has an "auto fix" thing which might fix the color for you. I'm not much of a photoshopper myself, but I can loan you Ryan, if you need help. He's playing with it this summer out of boredom while it's 90+ here and they can't go outside and get sunburned during the day.
