Cardigan Fever

I love this cardigan. Love it.
I saw it on the wall when I was shopping at Weaving Works.
I've found the perfect yarn and color to knit it in.
the yarn is Berroco Ultra Alpaca.
The color is called Steel Cut Oats.
It should be lovely.

  4. It will be a beautiful sweater! That is a perfect neutral color for a sweater.

  5. I made my BF an afghan from that same yarn in almost the exact same color. I used brown rice. The yarn sheds a little more than I like but it's very soft.

Love that cardigan pattern - can you tell me the name? Unless you have it in Ravelry. I'll go look now!

  8. Love the sweater! (Duh. Cables and a not-so-colorful-color.)

Ditto Bonnie D: Remember that green braided cable zip-up cardigan I made way back when? It was Ultra Alpaca. In my opinion, it doesn't wear well - it balls/becomes hairy where you need to see the detail.
