What's Left to Do?

These socks are going with me. Socks are the perfect travel project for me. So even though I plan on sleeping on the flight - I will pack JB's trekking socks in my carry on bag. Last night I did the first short-row heel and tonight around laundry I plan on getting the second heel turned. The socks are the same ol' basic toe up sock recipe that I use for JB - this time I'm using the garter rib pattern from Sensational Knit Socks. It's an easy pattern, easy to remember and while it doesn't do the trekking justice - I like it anyway and they will be finished just the way they are!
This pair is the Princess' pink socks - my friend D calls them the 'candy cane socks' because of the pinks flecks in the white background. The lace is easy enough to keep track of. I have 2 patterns done and plan on doing 7.5 before the heel.
I also need to finish laundry and pack. Send a note to the vet and remember to refill my prescription. Oh and I better send Carolyn
an email to remind her I'm coming!

  1. Have a great time! I hope you're too busy (napping included) to knit. ;)

The garter rib is a nice quick unisex sock to knit.

I appreciate you coming to see me. It may take me a bit to publish your comment - but I will get to them by the end of every day. If you leave a way for me to get back to you, I will. Thanks for taking the time to comment and share your opinions. g
